Advocacy and Participant Support

We support you to understand your rights, communicate your preferences and participate confidently in decisions about your supports.

Advocacy and participant support is about helping participants understand their rights, communicate their preferences and participate actively in decisions about their supports. We support you in meetings, reviews and conversations with the NDIA and providers, and help you develop confidence to advocate for yourself.

What we do

  • Represent your interests in NDIS planning meetings and reviews
  • Support you through NDIS appeals and Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) processes
  • Challenge decisions that don't reflect your needs or goals
  • Help you understand your rights as an NDIS participant
  • Liaise with the NDIA on your behalf
  • Build your self-advocacy skills and confidence

Who is this for?

Anyone who feels their NDIS plan doesn't reflect their needs, has had a decision they disagree with, or simply wants someone in their corner during the NDIS process. Advocacy support may be funded through your NDIS plan or available through other channels.
